“Monarchy is dead, long live democracy!”

The animals of Wildlands are done with the monarchy and have ousted Leopold XVIII, the former king of the jungle. In his absence, the whole kingdom demanded a democracy to elect a new leader and two political sides rose to power: the Freedom Horses, and the Eagle Partisans. 

The Horses stand for a unified government, working class reforms, and grassroots involvement. They are led by Denzel Neighs, the noble face of the opposition.

The Eagles stand for free market capitalism, industrial growth and military expansion. They are led by Baldie Friesse, the outspoken leader of the free thinkers.

Election season is coming in 6 months, and social media is ripe with speculation and trends on which party will come to power. How well can you gather public support?

Welcome to Democracy is _______! In this game you play as a citizen of Wildlands, and you, as a collective have just ousted the King of the Jungle, The Lion. The society has now turned to democracy to elect the next leader, and two parties have formed: the Eagle Partisans, and the Freedom Horses.

In this TTRPG,  you will be playing different roles in our society. Armed with your phone, you must now gather as much engagement online by posting statements, news, memes, etc. to be able to get the power to influence the public vote. You’ll do this by following trends and using them to your advantage to work towards your personal agenda.

Democracy is _______! is meant to be played with a group, in a separate Discord Server, and with the Discord bot 'Democracy Judge'.
